St. Mary of the Springs is seeking a part-time receptionist for assisted living residence. The receptionist serves as the initial contact for callers and visitors to St. Mary of the Springs. Responsibilities include operation of current telephone technology, assisting callers and visitors, and performing clerical support tasks. The individual must possess excellent interpersonal skills to work and communicate effectively, positively and appropriately with older adult population and the public. Required Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma; Courses in Word-processing and Data Entry. Six months as receptionist and six months general office work preferred. St. Mary of the Springs is seeking a full-time 32hr. per/wk. Wellness Nurse for assisted living residence. The Nurse provides nursing assessment and health education to residents, and communicates with the Director of Resident Life regarding observed changes in resident health condition and emergency situations. Major responsibilities include: serving as a contact to pharmacies, laboratories and physicians as necessary; assessment and documentation of resident health status; medication administration; facilitation of pharmacy procedures; assistance in selection of health care providers, accompanying resident(s) to physician’s office or emergency room when appropriate, and supervision of LPN. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an approved school of Nursing, and a current Ohio RN license; three (3) years’ nursing practice including experience in acute and long-term gerontological nursing; preferred candidates must have nursing practice in long-term gerontological setting with experience providing adult health education and/or community education outreach; excellent oral and written communication skills; familiarity with PC software, and Internet and e-mail technologies preferred.
