| Preaching
is at the heart of the Dominican vocation. All members of the Dominican
Family claim this identity. We are entrusted through baptism and
the call within the Order of Preachers to announce the Word of God.
This is done through many "pulpits":
• By the witness of our lives.
• By liturgical preaching.
• By pastoral ministry and catechesis.
• By the evangelization of culture.
We put our preaching at the service of the entire People of God.
We promote social analysis, including theological reflection, naming
both the grace and the disgrace evident in our world.
