Dominican Institute for the Arts

The Dominican Institute for the Arts (DIA) is a grassroots movement of Dominican Artists. Through its leadership, mutual support, and gatherings, the DIA promotes the arts as preaching: to proclaim the Gospel, live justice, nourish the soul, and celebrate the Spirit.

Several members of the Congregation of Saint Mary of the Springs currently hold membership in this international institute, which holds annual gatherings in mid-summer. Participants are invited to exhibit work, experience various art forms through the facilitation of “lead” artists and celebrate the giftedness of the Dominican Family.
