St. Mary of the Springs is located in the Northeast section of the City
of Columbus approximately one mile from Port Columbus airport on land
where the Dominican Sisters have resided since 1868. The property is adjacent
to Ohio Dominican
University, which occupies land and buildings given to it by the Dominican
Sisters in 1969. It is easily reached by interstate highway from all directions.
Housed on the property are the Springs’ Motherhouse (2320 Airport
Drive), which includes both a residence for Sisters and the congregational
offices; the Martin de Porres
Center (2330 Airport Drive), a ministry outreach center; and Mohun
Health Care Center (2340 Airport Drive), a skilled nursing facility
for Religious women and men and diocesan priests. There are two entrances
to the St. Mary of the Springs property and separate building entrances
to each these facilities.
